This was an old airbrush exercise from the early 80's which hang around the studio unfinished. It is now painted using only freehand brushes in oil paints, my much preferred way to paint today.
This shows a maiden of the cult of the God Pan in ancient Greece, at dawn of the night before.

Within a world of clarity and will.
A mind of matter. Fortune framed.
In energy and thought sustained, A chaos in a charm refrained.
